Jolene is a very large, perfectly marked blue roan with a star! Her size is impressive as well as her mind. She is a sister to Reba of whom you can read about on Reba's page! Jolene is from TN and she was brought home to Indiana to cross with Frosty.

Molly is a solid black mare and is my own Coin's Hard Cash mare out of Delight's Ms. Eb. You've heard me talk about Delight's Ms. Eb, she is Miss Scarlet. She is our 21 year old black mare that we absolutely adore. Molly is pretty unique in that she has 15 to 20 cowlicks throughout her fur which makes her pretty unique. She is a wonderful mare, 11 years old, and has produced some fantastic foals for us. Molly is for sale. She is incredibly well bred! She is currently open, as are ALL my mares. I will sell her open or bred for $1500. She is a very nice mare. I was told by her former owners that she is broke to ride. I have not tried to ride her. I am in the process of selling down so that I DO get much more time to ride! Call soon! 765-438-3844

Creambird is a double agouti Cremello mare by The Last Gold Chance out of Yellow Judy. She is a nine year old mare and is in foal now for a double agouti Cremello or Perlino colt this spring. We are actually pricing her for sale secondary to trying to produce some of the Cremello herd.
Wednesday, 24 June 2009 14:28
Genny is a chestnut mare and is our own Prides Generator's daughter. She is out of a mare named Favorites' Easter Sue. Genny is that super-sweet, docile, lead-her-by-the-chin, do anything with her, she'll do whatever you want, sort of a mare. When we got her, you couldn't even look at her hard in the pastures without her trying to run away. Now, she'll walk right up to you. She loves it here, she loves this farm, she loves people.
Wednesday, 24 June 2009 14:24
Hershey is a three year old filly that was born out of our fantastic mare, Gen-U-Wine, by Gen Gold Collection E. Hershey is a mare that ended up with an impaction. She actually had emergency surgery at Purdue University. Hershey is that deep, dark gold Palomino that is very, very rare to find. Since she has had the abdominal surgery with the central risk for adhesions, at this point, we do not feel that we could sell Hershey. If somebody is looking for a fantastic mare to do some gentle riding, we may consider it.
Wednesday, 24 June 2009 14:22
Krystal is a bay mare roan, eight years old. She is by Geneator's Pushin's Blue out of Apryl's Lucky Command. She is a large mare, 16 hand bay mare, perfect markings. She was shown padded and she makes more of a pleasure-type horse. She has no white on her legs and has gorgeous, long black stockings, a long flowing mane, and she has a long, beautiful neck.
Wednesday, 24 June 2009 14:12
Geraldine is a black roan mare and was born on May 20,1996. Her sire is Generator's Genuine Jazz and her mother is Celebrity Lady. Geraldine is a mare that came to us probably with a complicated history from Ohio. She is a true blue roan mare. She has very beautiful eyes, they are large, deep and soulful eyes. She produces a blue roan for us almost every year.

Creampuff is by Gambling for Gold and out of Ace's Cream and Sugar. The interesting thing about Creampuff is that we actually had obtained her sister, who we call Icee. Once we had adopted Chance's Ivory Coast, or Icee, we fell in love with this bloodline. We traced back and found Ace's Cream and Sugar, called the gentleman who owned them in Alabama, went down there, and acquired all his Cremello stock.
Wednesday, 24 June 2009 13:38
Destiny is a Bay Roan and actually nine years old this May. She is by Frosty's Perfection and she is a half-sister to our stallion, Frosty's Reflection. She is out of an old blood line, Senator Sun Dust Gal. She could actually be a cow pony, so to speak. She turns on a dime, she neck reigns, she backs, she is very energetic, has a lot of endurance, and actually carried Jim Holmes up a 45 degree angle hill for approximately 300 feet and was lookin' for more!
Wednesday, 24 June 2009 13:14
My girl! She is a riding horse dream! She is a gorgeous sorrel mare and she has a flax mane and tail. She is really smooth, safe, and sane. I really like this mare. She has a fantastic pedigree.
Wednesday, 24 June 2009 13:11
Willow was born on this farm in the very early hours of the morning. I sat and peeked through the stall bars and watched. I watched and watched. Fancy Belle somehow held onto her. I sat down on a bale of straw and fell sound asleep. When I woke up, Willow was half way out and she was standing on her front feet with her back legs still in momma. She has been precocious from the very beginning. She is a five year old this year which is really hard to believe that it has been that long.
Wednesday, 24 June 2009 13:07
We were not really looking for mares when we came across Scarlet for sale. She comes from a farm in Kentucky who was retiring from breeding. We are very happy to have Scarlet. She is obviously an old performance horse.
Wednesday, 24 June 2009 13:04
Deb is the mother of Jake. We think that this will be a part of her legacy. Jake is now standing stud in Kentucky. So, we think you will see some of Deb’s grandchildren. She is safe in foal and will give us another fantastic baby by Traveler. We have Jake’s full sister that is also a EEAACrCr. Her name is Jane and she is like a kitten, or a puppy in that she follows you wherever you go.
Wednesday, 24 June 2009 13:01
Rosie is the ditto of her sister, Cappie. She has more of a buttermilk shade. She is also by Royal Ivory and is simply a huge and gorgeous mare. She is not for sale because of the history that we have with Rosie. She was bred by Elsie Darrah and then went to Jim Holmes. We ended up getting her from Jim and we have never looked back. She is so gentle, almost like a dog-gentle elephant. She is huge and has such great bone structure.
Wednesday, 24 June 2009 12:57
Cappie is a really large, super gorgeous mare that is actually well known in the buckskin walking horse group. She was raised by Elsie Darrah and she represents all that is the best of Elsie’s program. She has produced some great colts. This past year filly is a super golden, very dark palomino filly that is going to be a large mare. We had actually traded Cappie for a Tennessee Goldust mare in Colorado.
Wednesday, 24 June 2009 12:55
Buttercup is by far, the prettiest cremello mare living. I would hazard a guest that you would agree with me on this point. Many people have fallen in love with this mare. We have been given many offers. She is the perfect horse. Period. We will let her pictures speak for themselves. She is safe in foal and will have a buckskin tobiano mare.
Wednesday, 24 June 2009 12:47
Cutie comes to us from middle Tennessee and we have not been disappointed. We bought her sight unseen. When we went to get her, we were shocked at how small she was for her age. She is not a large mare but she is so very sweet. She has the heritage walking horse gait that makes Bullet famous. She is very intelligent. She will figure a way around any obstacle. She never had to be broke. We pretty much just got on her and off she went. She has never done anything wrong.
Wednesday, 24 June 2009 12:39
Joy is the biggest horse on the farm. She tops out over 16.1. To some people that does not seem that big. We had a gentleman fly here to look at a 16 hand horse. He saw this 16 hand horse and said that horse is too big for me. We think a lot of people don't realize how big a 16 hand horse is. I cannot see over Joy’s back and I am 5ft 8 inches tall. She is calm and gentle.
Wednesday, 24 June 2009 12:25
Gracie is by the great Bud’s Sterling Bullet. As you can see, she is very well-bred. She has the heritage of some great gaited horses. Most people with walking horses know of Bullet. Grace lives up to her legacy. Grace was scheduled to be broke to ride and the week before she was to leave, she cut her leg really bad on who knows what. You know, if there is one place for a horse to get cut or hurt, she will find it. We looked and looked but could not find the source of the injury. So, Grace stayed home and got handled about 4 hours a day for dressing changes and cleaning. She did really well with this and never fussed or misbehaved.
Thursday, 18 June 2009 21:15
Shy is shy! She comes from a farm in Tennessee. It took a lot of effort to get her when we went to pick her up. She is a well gaited, medium toned palomino mare that is by the Chances Goldmine MF. She is very loose, has a great overstride, and produces a super nice colt every year. Shy is yet another horse that we made a promise to keep forever. She is NOT shy to us anymore but she has learned to trust us. Sometimes, she will scoot around and act difficult to catch but most times she will just sneak up behind us and just wait patiently for her turn. If she is not in the mood for lovin’, she will just quietly walk away and look at us out of one eye. Then, she might slide on over. She is a lot like a cat. She wants it when she wants it, how she wants it and only on her terms. She is a doll.
Thursday, 18 June 2009 21:07
Why in the world would someone NOT hold onto this horse? April is a trail riders dream! She is the super smart, naughty kind of horse that we either love to death or not so much (That is rare!) She is super well gaited and fearless yet calm, energetic but harnessed. She is the whole enchilada! We love our April. She produced for us this last year a EeAACrCr and so that is the grand finale. We did not breed her back this year. She is now a part of the trail riding herd.
Thursday, 18 June 2009 21:00
Jet is a thoroughbred looking Tennessee Walking horse with a gorgeous neck and shoulder. She carries herself like a Queen. She has a wonderful, natural arched neck with a super nice gait. She floats across the pasture. We have not known what we wanted to do with Jett so we left her out to be a horse. However, we think it is time that she has a job. She either needs to be broke to ride or have babies. She is another horse that comes to us with much love. She has only been on two farms, ours and her breeders. The breeders of Jett, truly loved her. They wanted to potentially get the first colt of hers if she was bred to The Ivory Coast. We have not bred her yet because we were so indecisive about how to proceed with her career. Now, she is 6 years old. She needs to get busy.
Thursday, 18 June 2009 20:57
Kate is another diamond in the rough that came to us. We have polished her up and she is one of our favorites. We had a wonderful mare that was a sorrel. Kate’s former owner wanted the sorrel mare and we wanted a daughter of Coin’s Hard Cash. So, we traded. Wow, did we do great! Don’t get us wrong, we really liked the mare that we traded but Kate is special. She is as docile as a lamb.
Thursday, 18 June 2009 20:54
Velvet is currently started under saddle. All she needs is hours under saddle. She is a dark buckskin with golden highlights. She, again, has one of those large ‘butt’ girls that have all the power in the back end.She is by Traveler and out of our Superstar mare, Candy. Candy and I share the same birthday, I just have 30 years on her! Velvet will be coming back soon and we will get some photos of her on the site. She will be broke to ride. She is also EEAaCr-. She is quite the catch. Velvet was involved in an accident at the trainer's. She ran into a bundle of barbed wire and has skin damage over both hocks. She is not lame at all. She loves people and as you can see in the YouTube video, she is just wanting to please! She will be a lifetime partner!
Thursday, 18 June 2009 20:49
Lady Grey is such a versatile girl. She probably could win a speed racking contest. She looks like an Arabian, acts like a warmblood, and gaits like a dream boat. Terri loves this mare. It is really funny because Terri used to be scared of her. She puffs herself up and acts bigger than life. She would scare someone if they did not know her backwards and forwards. She is very energetic, almost bad. It is funny to watch Terri and her.
Thursday, 18 June 2009 20:46
Fancy Belle is our retired, most favorite palomino mare in the universe. She is well broke to ride. She is our 11 year old daughter’s horse. She had actually foundered bad shortly before we got her, according to Purdue and our farrier. You know, it is probably a blessing that we did not know this. We most likely would not have bought her and now you couldn’t give us enough money to take her from Shelly.
Thursday, 18 June 2009 20:32
Beam was purchased from Susan at Thunder Valley Walkers. We had always wanted a Royal Ivory mare and she is the first one that we ever purchased. Beam is a large mare with a very even personality. In fact, she has had several colts that are proving themselves in the walking horse world.
Thursday, 18 June 2009 20:29
Barbie is a mare that really thinks she is the bomb. If she were a human it would take her about 3 hours to get ready! She has a long and flowing mane and tail. Barbie carries herself like a model going down the runway. She is really a beautiful horse. We have sold every baby that she has raised. She puts the color on them 100%. We don’t know if she is homozygous in her genetics but so far, so good.
Thursday, 18 June 2009 20:25
Booze is very well broke, my riding mare. She is such a great mare that we have our friends ride Booze. She is very kind and gentle. She takes care of her rider. She has been all over the country. We really love this mare. She has an elegant look to her. She is always ready to jump into the trailer. We have had several horses to Purdue for different things. There for awhile, I thought I had an express train to Purdue. When Shelby was there, we met Dr. Paige Jackson. In a word, wonderful doctor. She became a friend. She had always been a quarter horse kinda girl.
Thursday, 18 June 2009 20:18
Big Blue will be one of the biggest blue roan mares out there. She is ready to be broke. She is gentle. She is a four year old this year. She has not foaled but will be bred to Frosty this year. She is available to the right home
Thursday, 18 June 2009 20:14
Angel was born here at Rise and Shine Walkers. She is out of a great big, wonderful buckskin mare that we sold a few years back. She is by Reno before we gelded him. She is a lovely mare that loves people. Truly, nothing bad has ever happened to her. She is producing some really nice colts. She does have a single agouti.
Thursday, 18 June 2009 19:28
Woman is a gorgeous chestnut mare that is the best of All worlds. She has a great show line and has the pleasing disposition of a trail pleasure, all around great horse. She has over delivered each year.
Thursday, 18 June 2009 19:22
Seattle is a drop dead gorgeous mare! She is a full sister to a great mare that we regretfully sold about four years ago, Molly. We went looking for this mare because we liked Alen’s Wonder Woman so much. We should have never sold her (but we say that all the time.) She went to a fantastic home of Joyce L. in Alexandria, IN. Seattle is broke to ride and would be available to someone if they were interested in a high spirited, very energetic (but not crazy) horse that will tackle any obstacle.
Thursday, 18 June 2009 19:14
Alen's High Octane: My Cadillac! When Dottie was broke to ride she was actually used as a cutting horse. The trainer was about 280 pounds and she was actually athletic enough to cut cows with him on board! He was impressed. I don’t think she will ever leave here.
Thursday, 18 June 2009 19:09
Pinky is the matriarch of our cremello herd. We had bought a wonderful mare by the name of Icee from a great guy in Alabama. We went back, researched the mare, called the breeder, drove down to Alabama and came back with his entire herd of cremellos. This group is the nicest group of cremello mares in the TWH breed.
Thursday, 18 June 2009 19:05
A Dream Come Blue...Fantastic! A Blue Roan with the perfect markings. She is a joy to be around. She glides along with her fantastic, old blood line. She will reach deep under and just glide along. We really like this mare.
Thursday, 18 June 2009 19:02
A Blue Rose is a well mannered, gentle, true blue roan mare that has a fantastic gait. She is very well bred and carries herself really well. She is by Rain’s Blue Genes and is the perfect blue roan. She is marked very well with real long black stockings. She has a few white hairs in the forehead. She is four years old this year.
Thursday, 18 June 2009 18:56
Izzy is a solid, deep gold palomino filly with solid palomino legs. She is incredibly well gaited. Just look at her pedigree!! You could do anything with this girl. She is strong, bright eyed, intelligent and ready to love on us. We were there for her birth, she was imprinted, taught to lead and stand. She will make an exceptional mount for either the trail or the rail. She should mature over 15 hands.
Thursday, 18 June 2009 18:38
Cici is a Sorrel mare with a flax mane and tail who is by Delight Golden Mack KM and out of Analyze That. She is a wonderful Sorrel mare with a super-nice gait. Her sire is actually a Missouri State racking champion and mama is a large-boned mare who is also listed for sale by the name of Analyze That. We are very pleased with Cici as well as Annie Bay. Cici is an interesting story in that she was born here on the farm under direct supervision by Terri and me.
Thursday, 18 June 2009 18:19
Sonic is a Gorgeous Bay mare sired by The Sonic Boom. Wonderful, well gaited, pleasing bay filly with old foundation bloodlines and the head nod to go with it. Very upright and showy. Wonderful old stock and should make an excellent trail horse or a wonderful broodmare.
Thursday, 18 June 2009 18:14
Star is a gorgeous mare that produces fantastic colts. Star is eager to please and ready to go. Her 2006 foal is by our stallion Frosty's Reflection. He is a great black colt with a very refined head that he gets from his momma. Jim Holmes told me once that this was the prettiest mare that he had ever seen. She is very refined and detailed in her looks. She has a gorgeous head that is very refined.
Thursday, 18 June 2009 18:04
Holly Berry is a very nice mare. She is perfectly put together. She is her mother’s daughter in her looks, grace, and poise. She has a star and a snip. She is ready to be broke to ride. She is the perfect age to start. We would think that this mare would be really easy to start. She is very, very sensible and even keeled. She is ready to have a career.
Thursday, 18 June 2009 17:59
Cammie was purposely not bred this year. She has a very sound head and loves to be under saddle. She has been in the show ring and we think she did okay. However, we have never shown her. She produced two babies for us. Cammie has been put back under saddle. So, it has been four years since she had been ridden. We got her out of the pasture, cleaned her up (she loved it!) and put a saddle on her. You could almost see the big smile on her face. She was PERFECT.
Thursday, 18 June 2009 17:54
Shelby is doing very well and is truly the boss of the herd. She is just aware of herself. She does not have one aggressive bone in her body but she knows that she is held in high esteem by her humans (she really is!!) That is really no big surprise, is it? Well, with all of our success this year, we have had our trials! We had a perfect buckskin filly born out of Fireball's Lady Lou and by Traveler. We were inattendance of the birth. Things went ok until the baby would not come out of the bag. As an Obstetrician and horse breeder, I (Micki) jumped right in, pulled the membranes off and started observing. "Shelby was the hungriest colt with the strongest suck reflex that I have ever seen." However, she had one problem. She was breathing about 120-140 times a minute. Well, after watching this and exhausting our wonderful local vet, we decided to pack her up and take her to Purdue. Let us just say, that Shelby has become our million dollar baby!
Thursday, 18 June 2009 17:25
Sterling is a fantastic, smooth grey mare for sale and is by Gen's Armed and Dangerous out of a grey mare named Steel Blue. Sterling is a very calm, easy-going, wonderfully gaited, but somewhat obese at this point, mare. She is open because we were riding her through the fall and she is a doll to handle. She will neck rein, back, and has all the trail riding skills in place.
