Most of these babies will be double agouti!  I am not testing any of them at this point.  There are some that are 100% double agouti because both of their parents are double agouti!

My breeding will be kicking off again soon. The horses are doing great, fat and sassy. We have spent a lot of time having the horese started and trained.  We don't have any babies this year but we do have great quality trail riding and pleasure horses that are started under saddle or either finished.  Given the state of the horse market, we took a couple of years off from breeding. The only reason for this was the fact that the horse auctions and the slaughter houses were full of great horses. I did not want to take a chance that any of my horses would end up in that situation. Therefore, I made the economic decision to let the recession pass on by so that we did not participate in stuffing the market, however super high quality that my "kids" are.  As a business owner, you have to know and test the market and adjust as needed. I have had many calls for babies this year.  Unofortunately, I have not had any to sell. However, those buyers were able to find great quality yearlings and two year olds.  Congratulations to them. My herd has shrunk almost in half only because I am trying to adapt to the market.  Never fear, all those who want Rise and Shine babies, we will be gearing up again as soon as this recession is over. I have had friends that have been career breeders who have never seen a market like this.  So, we have just held tight, fully expecting the horses to bounce back!  Every one wants some Rise and Shine babies.  Thank you to everyone who has complimented us on our stock. We have taken great pride in our quality animals. In fact, the research that has been done to acquire the finest herd has really paid off.  Thank you again to everyone.

We are now offereing Trail Broke and Ready mares and geldings for sale. We use the all natural approach to riding and training. This labor day weekend we had local guests as well as guest from Kansas!  We had a blast and showed our stock all weekend.
